Shipping is free and genuinely fast for furniture — 2 to 4 business days by UPS or FedEx. There is no restocking fee. Both of those are real advantages over most furniture retailers.

And there is one clause in the returns policy that changes what you are buying.

The Clause That Decides This Purchase

Their refund policy lists what cannot be returned. Most of it is unremarkable — clearance, customised items, anything marked non-returnable. Then this:

Now consider what this shop sells. An eight-piece modular sectional sofa. It arrives in pieces — that is the entire product concept.

You cannot find out whether a sectional works without assembling it. Whether it fits the room. Whether the configuration is right. Whether it is comfortable to sit on. Every one of those questions requires the sofa to exist as a sofa.

And the moment you assemble it, you cannot send it back.

Note that “disassembled” is in there too, which closes the obvious workaround. You cannot build it, decide against it, and take it apart again — that is excluded by the same clause.

In fairness, this exclusion is standard for flat-pack furniture and there is a real reason for it — assembly marks components, strips threads and destroys packaging, and an assembled-then-returned sofa cannot be sold as new. We are not calling it a trick.

But it does mean the 30-day return window applies to a sofa in boxes, not a sofa in your living room — and buyers should understand that before ordering, not after.

And You Must Keep Every Box

The same list excludes “Items without original packaging (including serious damage to the original packaging).”

And the process requires you to “provide at least one full-view picture of the product and the outer box, along with a picture of the internal packing” before they will assess eligibility.

An eight-piece sectional arrives in a lot of very large boxes, and the natural instinct is to break them down and get them out of the hallway. Do not, until you are certain — and note that opening boxes carelessly can itself cause the “serious damage” that disqualifies a return.

To their credit, they explain why in a section headed “Why Keep the Original Packaging?”, noting that their packaging is custom-made per item because the products are heavy or delicate. That is a reasonable explanation, honestly given.

The Mitigation They Offer

Here is the thing that partly solves the problem, and it is worth genuine credit: they sell fabric swatches.

It does not solve everything. A swatch tells you nothing about how deep the seat is, how firm the cushions are, or whether the configuration suits your room. Those questions still cannot be answered without assembling it.

So do the other half yourself: measure the room and tape out the footprint on the floor before ordering. The product pages give configuration dimensions, and masking tape is the cheapest insurance available on a purchase like this.

Who Pays to Send a Sofa Back

The policy splits this by fault, which is the fair way to do it:

That is a reasonable principle — but apply it to the actual object. Return freight on a multi-box sectional sofa is a serious cost, and the policy does not quantify it anywhere.

Two details soften it. They say “prepaid return label(s) may be provided for returns in certain regions,” with the fee deducted from your refund rather than paid up front. And their FAQ says “we will coordinate with you and our delivery carrier for pickup,” though “some products may need to be returned by yourself.”

Arranging collection rather than making you freight a sofa is meaningfully better than the alternative. But get the figure in writing before you agree to a return, because it is deducted from what you get back.

One more line worth noting: “we do not refund our original shipping cost.” Since outbound shipping is free, that mostly matters for any order where a charge did apply.

Fast Shipping Shortens Your Cancellation Window

An unusual consequence of a good feature.

The policy says you can cancel “before your item’s delivery” for a full refund, but “orders can’t be canceled once the parcel is shipped out.”

That is not a criticism of shipping fast — most buyers want their sofa quickly. But it means the decision has to be finished before you click, because there is very little room to reconsider afterwards, and after shipment you are into the returns process with its assembly and packaging conditions.

That leaves the biggest questions unanswered. We did not check Trustpilot, the BBB, Reddit or any complaint record, so we cannot tell you about build quality, comfort, how the fabric wears, whether delivery times are met, or how the company behaves when a return is disputed. For furniture, that is a great deal of what matters. Treat their absence as unexamined rather than clean.

We have not bought, assembled or sat on anything. We could not establish what return freight actually costs, what the fabric swatches cost, the warranty terms in detail, or how often prepaid labels and carrier pickup are offered rather than the customer arranging it themselves.

Our reading that the assembly exclusion effectively prevents evaluation is an inference from the policy text applied to the product type — a company may well be more flexible in practice than its written terms. Ask before ordering if this matters to you. Prices and policies change.
