That produces diffuse shedding which typically improves within three to six months of weight stabilising.

If your hair is thinning diffusely and you are three months into rapid weight loss, the intervention is protein, a check for iron, ferritin, vitamin D and thyroid, and time. If your hairline is receding or your crown is thinning in a pattern, that is a different condition and minoxidil is a real answer.
