What It Is and Who It Is For

A direct-to-consumer hair tool brand. Their catalogue on the day we checked ran to 109 products: hair dryers, curling irons, flat irons, blow dry brushes, multi-tool Switch Kit sets, and a large accessories range — 48 of the 109 items are accessories.

The buyer is someone upgrading from a drugstore dryer to a salon-tier one, spending two to three hundred dollars on a tool they expect to keep for years. That is a reasonable purchase and these are reasonable tools. Whether it is a reasonable purchase this month depends on the next section.

Both of those can be entirely above board — third-party shipping protection genuinely is non-refundable in most implementations — and it still produces the exact pattern of complaints you would predict.

What to do: look at your cart before you pay, find the ShipInsure line, and decide deliberately whether you want it. On a $349 dryer the charge is small; on a large order it is not, and it is the one item you cannot get back.

We searched the Consumer Product Safety Commission recall database for anything naming T3 Micro since 2020 and found nothing.
